Hornet Robotics Alliance (HRA) is a non-profit 501c3 organization (EIN 39-2832246) formed in service of the students of Holmdel High School. Our main purpose is to support the growth of innovative, competitive, and collaborative robotics programs that inspire the next generation of robotic engineers, designers, problem-solvers, and leaders.
Holmdel High School students are afforded the opportunity to compete in FIRST® Tech Challenge, a global robotics competition where students work together with their mentors to design and build robots to compete in a dynamic and exciting challenge released every September.
Teams program classroom-scale robots to follow autonomous commands before student drivers take control in two-on-two matches.
On and off the field, students develop STEM skills, engage in community outreach, practice engineering innovation, and build confidence to help them succeed.
There are a few ways to get involved and support our students. If you are a parent or guardian of a student in a Holmdel School, we would love to have you as a part of our team! Visit our Join Us page for more details about what joining entails and the Calendar for events that we run/support throughout the year.
Another way to get involved is to become a team sponsor. Please visit our Become a Sponsor page to fill out a form and give some details about yourself or your company. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization, eligible contributions are tax-deductible. We appreciate your interest and look forward to hearing from you!
