Why Your Support Matters

Robotics is an expensive sport.  Between precision-machined parts, high-end sensors, computer programs and registration fees for competitions, our "season" requires significant funding. 100% of your donation directly covers:

🎮 Parts & Hardware: Chassis, motors, wires, batteries, controllers, sensors, adapters

🔧 Tools: Ensuring every student has access to CAD programs, 3D printers, hand-tools

💵 Transportation & Fees for Meets: Getting our teams (and bots) to the competition fields to represent our community, and costs like team-jerseys and food while participating in the meets

🤝 Outreach: Helping us host workshops for our middle schoolers to spark an early interest in STEM, and to sustain our growing Hornet Robotics program at Holmdel High School.

The Reality of the HRA's Mission

We are incredible proud and fortunate to be a part of the Holmdel School District, and to have received unwavering support and assistance from our Board of Education, School Administration, and the HFEE.  However, the rising costs of technology and travel now exceed what traditional funding can provide, especially in this time of tightened school budgets all around.  Community support is not just a "bonus" for our teams.  Your contribution today ensures that financial barriers don't stand in the way of a student's chance to master the technologies of tomorrow.
